Microcomputers are rapidly becoming a standard part of office equipment for many in the construction industry, but there is still a considerable shortage of simple and inexpensive programs to perform basic construction tasks. This book aims to meet this need by providing a range of fairly simple, but highly flexible programs for building cost appraisal. The programs are suitable for use on all leading types of machine and can be adapted by the user for further development. Each program featured in the book is prefaced by a short explanation of the particular techniques used.
