Citizen Welles

Orson Welles' creative achievements in film "Citizen Kane", radio, with his documentary style adaptation of "The War of the Worlds", his productions in the theatre and his stardom as an actor are discussed in this book. It also describes the more personal side of Welles's life from the consequence of his early success and notoriety, his love affairs with Rita Hayworth and Dolores del Rio, his rejection from Hollywood and the ultimate tragedy of his sad final years.
