Alex Bourke is the world?s leading vegetarian travel writer and founder of Vegetarian Guides, the world?s first vegetarian guidebook company. He went veggie at 14, worked during the eighties in every department of a guidebook company, and in 1992 whilst living in France published The Vegan Guide to Paris, which led to a series of guides to other major cities in Europe, America and Australia. Alex has edited Vegetarian Britain, Vegetarian France, Vegetarian Europe and Vegetarian London. He writes veggie travel articles for magazines and newspapers, has assisted countless journalists and appeared on radio and television in several countries.
