The Illustrated Flora of Britain and Northern Europe

Containing new full-colour illustrations of over 2400 plants in Europe, this combines the paintings of the noted botanical artist Marjorie Blamey with text by Christopher Grey-Wilson, a leading professional at Kew. Grasses are omitted but introduced species are covered. Previous work by the artist includes "Wild Flowers" with text by Richard and Alistair Fitter, while Grey-Wilson has written a number of books, both specialist and general.
