Ligne Directe

Part of a course which is designed to give adult learners of French extra practice at understanding spoken language, this is aimed at non-specialist linguists, complementing a wide range of courses. The aim is not to teach new material but to reinforce and help assimilate the student's own knowledge. The course is based on aural comprehension, with very little reading and writing. The core of the course is based around alphabet and number practice with a wide variety of forms of exercise, and its core vocabulary has been selected for its broad business and everyday relevance. This is the student's book. A double cassette pack is available separately.
