Bopaya M. Bidanda is the ErnestRoth Professor and former chair of the Department of Industrial Engineering atthe University of Pittsburgh, PA. He is the Immediate Past-President of theInstitute of Industrial & Systems Engineers (IISE). He was previouslya Commissioner with the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC of ABET) andcurrently serves on ABET Board of Delegates. He has also consulted with abroad range of industries across the world. His research focuses onmanufacturing systems, reverse engineering and rapid prototyping, and projectmanagement. Bidanda has published 12 books and over 100 papers ininternational journals and conference proceedings.
