Etymologus

Václav Blazek is one of the most prolific diachronic linguists of last decades, active on the field of etymology of Indo-European, Afro-Asiatic, Chadic, Siberian, Uralic and other language groups of the world; he works on the field of lexicostatics and glottochronology, onomastics or interlingual contacts as well. The present volume is a festschrift in his honor by his numerous colleagues working on the same or similar fields of study, reflecting his contribution to the development of linguistics, including his short biography and a complete bibliography.
