The increased use of sophisticated orthodontic appliances for the correction of misplaced teeth has increased the need for precise information about facial growth. This book reviews data on a large number of subjects with cephalometric records extending from before the age of 5 to adulthood, including cases whose dental occlusion developed normally without orthodontic treatment. The result is an extensive descriptive manual of growth changes including introductory explanations on the nature and source of samples, and methods in taking the radiographs and assembling and processing data.
