The Year of Passages

Straddling the boundary between fiction and non-fiction, this unconventional novel is narrated by an Algerian professor who has been condemned by religious fanatics in the Islamic world for his book entitled "Dead Letters" and must take refuge in Minneapolis, a city of the living dead.
