A Life for the Revolution

Ludwig Bogen was a committed participant in the revolution of 1848. He was also represented as a parliamentarian in the Paulskirche. As an avowed revolutionary, he had to emigrate to the USA. He lived there for many years in New Ulm, Minnesota - and profiled himself as editor and editor-in-chief of the "New Ulm Post", a German-language weekly newspaper with the subtitle "Independent People's Journal for Freedom, Law and Progress"
