Brief Therapy

This volume, through scholarly presentation, aims to provide even the psychodynamic school of thought with a short-term approach. The authors present the basic principles of the technique, interspersed with personal, clinical material. Short-term psychotherapists are particularly concerned with the selection of patients; focusing on resolvable issues; giving the patient self-analytical tools for future self-reliance; and paying special attention to termination issues.
