Mick Battley and Pete Lattanzi were law enforcement officers in the UK and US, drawn together for a real-life undercover operation in the US investigating the purchase of illicit firearms. Now Mick has retired, he lives in East Anglia and works as a criminal law legal representative at police stations. Pete is retired and lives in Texas. It was while driving from Houston to Las Vegas in 2009 that Mick and Pete stopped at the fabled town of Tombstone, 'a living museum' as Mick calls it, and were inspired to write this story. They are planning to write other scripts together.
