The first edition of Will Battle's book The World Tea Encyclopaedia was published in 2016, it won a Best in the World award at the 2017 Gourmand Awards. The second edition was published in 2020. This is the fully updated 3rd edition. In 2024 Will was commissioned by the International Wine and Food Society to write the society's annual Monograph which was published as The World of Tea. Will is a judge at The Leafies, the UK Tea Academy's International Tea Awards, and at The Global Tea Championship. Will lives in Lincolnshire where he runs a tea import and wholesale business and helps on the family's arable farm.
