This book examines recent developments in Brazilian labour relations. After finishing postgraduate studies in labour law at the University of Bari, Italy, he was awarded a doctorate in politics at St Antony's College, Oxford. In addition, he works as a labour lawyer for the Central Unica dos Trabalhadores and its affiliates in Recife, Brazil. He has published many articles on labour relations, labour law and comparative labour law.
