North Island

This collection of 2-3 day tramping trips in the North Island includes the walk to Cape Brett in Northland, the Waitakere Ranges, Pinnacle Hut in the Coromandel, trips around the the lakes of Te Urewera National Park, the Tongariro Crossing, climbing Taranaki, forays into the Kaimanawas, the Kawekas and the Ruahine Ranges, and some of the classic routes in the Tararuas. These trips range in difficulty to ensure that there are tramps for every ability.
