Railways Galore

In Britain and Ireland there are hundreds of preserved railways, miniature railways and railway museums, the majority of which are run by unpaid volunteers, without whom they would not exist. They are also heavily dependent on the tourist, holiday-maker and day-tripper, as well as the railway enthusiast.
