Masters of the Italic Letter

This book presents a study of the caligraphy of the classic Renaissance writing masters, together with biographies and biographical information on their copybooks, techniques and writing styles as well as translations by 12 language scholars. There are specimens of the masters' pages and of individual letters and a synopsis of each letter produced by masters from Avrighi to Andres Brum, every one enlarged and reproduced so that the reader can compare the letters of one master with those of another.
