Chemical Products Desk Reference

This work is intended as a major new compendium of data on chemical products to serve the international chemical industry. Chemicals are comprehensively defined, classified by function, and indentified by ingredient and manufacturer. Part one contains an alphabetical listing of more than 50,000 tradename chemicals, with chemical description, function, product application and physical properties. All entries cross-refer to the manufacturer. Part two lists functional categories (eg plastics, resins, cosmetics, pesticides etc) giving the tradename products formulated for that application. Part three gives a vital generic component-to-tradename cross-reference, enormously important in chemical investigations where users often want to locate all products containing a particular ingredient. Part four is a directory of manufacturers of tradename chemicals, for US and international companies.
