This volume continues the description of the important class of trinuclear organoosmium compounds. It includes Os3-carbonyl compounds (except Os3(CO)12), hydridocarbonyls, carbonyl compounds with additional halogens or CN, with O-, S-, Se-, or Te-bonded ligands. Several of the compounds dealt with, such as (µ-H)2Os3(CO)10, H(µ-H)Os3(CO)11, H2Os3(CO)12, Os3(CO)9(µ-CO)(µ3-S), Os3(CO)10(NCCH3)2, and Os3(CO)11NCCH3, are very important for the synthesis of higher clusters.
