Tales: The Art of Christian Alzmann is his first book collecting his digital paintings and sketches as well as his traditional pencil sketches. He also walks the reader through his digital painting process using Photoshop and Painter.

Christian Alzmann graduated from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, and was hired by Industrial Light & Magic to work in its art department. At ILM he has worked on many film projects, including Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, War of the Worlds, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and A.I.: Artificial Intelligence. Now Christian is a Senior VFX Art Director.
