The Life and Times of Abu `Umar Al-Maqdisi

The following work is the follow up to Imam Muwaffaq ud-Din Ibn Qudamah's (d.620) A Word of Advice. In that text, the Imam discussed the definition of Ihsan, the ayat and ahadith that establish it and also supplications making reference to it. This text covers the life of his elder brother, Imam Abu `Umar Al- Maqdisi (d.607), who is an embodiment of Ihsan and every good thing that comes from the people of the science.
