The Qur'¿nic text is a unique genre. It represents the words of Allah revealed to his prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the utmost degree of divine accuracy. Due to the distinguished nature of the Noble Qur'¿n, besides its sacredness, translators who are engaged in rendering its meanings have to pay great attention to all its aspects, the linguistic, semantic, pragmatic, etc. in order to come up with as much accurate translation as possible. One of those aspects is the issue of dialect which is often tackled under sociolinguistics. In this book we will try to investigate the impact of old Arabic dialects on translating some ayas in the Noble Qur'¿n into English.
