Aerosol Sampling Guidelines brings together a selection of practical guidelines for the sampling of aerosols. Based on the conclusions of a comprehensive survey of industrial needs in aerosol measurement carried out in 1994, it covers five topics chosen as being representative of those where gaps in guidance were considered most visible. Each guideline is written in a concise and easy-to-read style, and each combines a brief explanation of the underlying scientific principles together with practical advice, which will make this book invaluable to workers in industry who do not have specialist knowledge of aerosol behaviour and sampling. Production of the book was supported under contract with the UK Department of Trade and Industry as part of the Valid Analytical Measurement (VAM) Programme.
