A Nasty Dose of Death

A stormy winter ni8ht on the seamier side of Sheffield. Freelance journalist Mike McLean receives a mysterious phone call from small-time burglar Andy Peters. But when McLean goes to meet him, he finds Peters dead, his neck broken. Next morning, ex-con scrap metal dealer James Silvester escapes death by inches when a gunman puts three bullets through the windscreen of his car.. Are the two incidents linked? McLean starts asking questions, and finds there's more than simple murder at the heart of the mystery.
