Cafe Einklang: Audio Pack

Designed for near beginners or those wishing to revise language skills to build to GCSE/NVQ level 1 standard, this audio pack is suitable for both independent learning and use in adult education. It is based around seven working days at an imaginary cafe in Wuppertal, supported by situations (eg a new member of staff), through which functions, vocabulary and structures are introduced. Characters, language and setting realistically reflect the diversity of German society. The pack incorporates a variety of authentic materials and is supported by two audio cassettes to practice speaking and listening skills. The themes are developed further in "Auftakt", although both courses stand alone.
