Blood Sport

Gene Hawkins is dragged from his sleep early one Sunday to join his boss on a boat on the Thames. There he meets Dave Teller, who urgently requires his investigative skills. Two of his horses have gone missing and one has been found dead. Furthermore, Teller himself is a victim of attempted murder.
