A sinister plot is launched to confer immortality on a select, elite group of government scientists. Dr Peter Jance is a brilliant weapons scientist, dying of cancer just as he nears completion of his greatest invention. Peter is persuaded to join the Fountain Society - the government's top-secret project whereby his brain will be supplanted into his clone's younger body so he can complete his work. Peter agrees and the operation is a success. However the doctor becomes increasingly disgusted with the government's immoral designs and tells his superiors that he wants out. But this is out of the question and Peter must run for his life ...
