The Early Years: Quest in Paradise

David Attenborough recounts here the progress of an expedition to film and capture some Birds of Paradise. His first sight of the exotic creatures' feathers are in a headdress, in a part of New Guinea that was, when he went there in the 1950s, remarkably untouched by civilization.
