Something in a Cardboard Box

In their back garden in Aylesbury, Less Stocker and his wife Sue run a wildlife hospital where, day and night, pathetic furry and feathered bundles arrive in cardboard boxes. These pages tell the tales of the rescue of wildlife ranging from badges, foxes and deer, hedgehogs, toads and mink to bats and grebes. Accounts of human heartlessness and dramatic rescue dashes are related by the author who has a dream to build Europe's first wildlife teaching hospital.
