Each company is represented by a number/colour combination, separated by state, with county boundaries and names added for reference. The map should be a useful reference tool for the electric or gas marketer, propane provider, utility provider, or anyone providing services to the gas industry, who wants to know which companies give retail gas services, and how large their service area is. Information is available on the smallest municipality to the largest investor-owned company. It is also available in electronic format.
