He is Chair of the national strategic board for serious collision investigation, and holds a Masters degree in Criminology and Leadership from Cambridge University.
Elliot Gold is a barrister at Serjeants' Inn Chambers, having been called to the Bar in 2001, practising in police law, public law, mental capacity, and discrimination. In 2021, he was named professional discipline 'junior of the year' by Chambers and Partners. He is also a contributing author to the forthcoming edition of Police Misconduct, Complaints and Public Regulation, to be published by Oxford University Press.
