The study identifies the principal theoretical features of the various periods in the development of Soviet industrial theory and then proceeds to explore the reasons for the dramatic changes and shifts seen in the development of the theory. Following this close examination and analysis of the dynamics determining the development of Soviet industrial theory, the study then addresses the probable future development of the theory.
