This guide sets out the basic principles of land registry practice and aims to provide advice on how to handle the more complex situations which may arise. This edition takes account of statute and case law that has been introduced since the last edition, including the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987 and the Land Registration Rules 1987, the Housing and Planning Act 1986, the Housing Act 1988, the Land Registration Fee Order 1988 and several important decisions.
