Elsevier's Dictionary of Mathematical and Computational Linguistics

This international dictionary presents recent terminology and expressions in the fields of mathematical and computational linguistics in English, French and Russian. Long English phrases are presented in the alphabetical listing several times, each occurrence being arranged under a different term of the expression. The permuted English expressions are accompanied each time by their corresponding French and Russian expressions. In this way English phrases with substantives and adjectives are described under adjectives as well as under substantives. The English phrases are arranged in alphabetical order, each followed by its French and Russian equivalent. Each entry is numbered. Alphabetical lists of the French and Russian phrases, with their respective entry numbers, are found towards the back of this work. By means of these alphabetical indexes the reader can use this dictionary for translating texts into one of the other two languages. Another novel aspect of this work is the presence of bibliographical references in the lexicographical entries. Therefore, the dictionary can serve as a convenient initial reference for bibiliographical research.
