This title has been revised and updated to take account of the case law relating to the Human Rights Act 1998 and the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The final chapter has been rewritten to summarize the impact of the Human Rights Act in the time since it was enacted. The influence of European law is shown in many areas throughout the text by the inclusion of case law from not only domestic courts but also from the ECHR.
