Personen
Iwona Skalna is an associate professor in the Department of Business Informatics and Management Engineering at the Faculty of Management of AGH University of Krakow, Poland. She is a member of the Polish Information Processing Society, GDR MACS, and IEEE; her research interests are related to the modeling of uncertainty, scheduling optimization, and artificial intelligence. She is the author of more than 100 scientific publications, including several monographs and papers that have been published in prestigious international journals. She also actively participates in national science and research projects.
Aleksandra G¿sior is an assistant professor at the Institute of Economics and Finance in the Department of Microeconomics of the University of Szczecin, Poland. She was a fellow of the 7th Framework Programme, People, IRSES project: "Pro-ecological Restructuring for Job." She was also a member of the University of Szczecin team in the international project entitled "Case studies teaching in economics and management," which was coordinated by the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. Her current research includes the M&A of companies as well as restructuring processes, sustainable development, financial analysis, microeconomics, and ecological aspects.
