The Law of Contract

"The Law of Contract" considers the fundamental points of contract law in a clear and concise form. It is an introductory book written by the author of "Smith and Thomas - A Casebook on Contract" (and in fact this book is cross referenced to that). Recent developments covered include: the Law of Property (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1989 and significant cases such as Walford v. Miles and Williams v. Roffey among others; the effects of Atlas Express Ltd v. Kafko Ltd and Williams v. Roffey Bros. on the doctrines of consideration and economic duress; the impact of Norwich City Council v.
