The Law of Tort

"The Law of Tort" considers all the topics typically included in tort courses throughout the common law world. Several chapters deal first with primary issues relating to liability, negligence and its special categories, breach of statutory duty and strict liability, before passing on to examine other specific torts - nuisance, trespass to the person and to goods, defamation and the economic torts. Chapters are devoted to remedies in tort and to the special consideration involved in compensation for personal injury.
