The Political Economy of Underdevelopment

The Political Economy of Underdevelopment considers the aspects of the world economic system which limit the possibility for autonomous development by a country such as Senegal. Its relationship with France and the rest of the world, and the relationships of classes within the country are considered in the light of recent developments and history. A bibliography of key texts is also provided.
