This new edition contains 10 percent more worked examples as well as the addition of modern chemometric developments, such as support vector machines, wavelet transformations and multi-way analysis. With its inclusion of statistics, fuzzy theory, databases, and quality assurance, this remains the textbook with the broadest coverage, and retains such proven features as additional information provided in the margin, a glossary of terms plus an overview of suitable chemometric software.
While ideal for students of chemistry, pharmacy, biochemistry and ecology, this is equally useful for scientists in industry and research institutes.
Rezensionen / Stimmen
"It is an excellent educational text and reference book for all interested in chemometrics and is a useful and valuable addition to any analyst's bookshelf." (Reviews, May 2009) "Not only written for chemometrics courses within the chemistry curriculum, but also for students of pharmacy, biochemistry and ecology." (International Journal of Environmental and Analytical Chemistry, 2008) From reviews of the prior edition: "...I am sure that I will confidently hand this book out to analytical chemists who stop by for guidance." (Technometrics) "...I have a favorable opinion of the text and would be prepared to use it as a primary reference..." (Microchemical Journal)
