Obasi, Ph.D. is an associate professor and the director of the family science program at the University of Nebraska Kearney, where she teaches courses in lifespan development, human sexual behavior, families and social policy, and research methods and analysis. She holds a Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of Western Ontario and an Hons. B.A. in psychology from McMaster University. Dr. Obasi's research has appeared in Names: A Journal of Onomastics, Family Science Review, and Global Perspectives on Family Life Education.
