What is Coppers? The Muslims have their Mosques, Rome has the Vatican, Paris has the Eiffel Tower and America the Grand Canyon but here in Ireland there is only one place to witness. That place is Coppers. Every weekend people appear to be dragged up the road and into Coppers, yet Garda statistics show that there has never been a sign of forced entry into the establishment. Inside it is good humoured - as at GAA matches at Croke Park all different types mull in together, there's no segregation along these plains. A model could meet a rugged farmer in his finest t-shirt. The only rule is...there are no rules. It is almost like a perfect universe - everyone spinning on their own axis, all trying to do one thing: shift. With a useful thesaurus to explain such terms as the 'Wounded Gazelle' and 'The Cock Block' narrated in a David Attenborough style, See You in Coppers takes us through a night in the mecca of Irish nightlife as seen through the eyes of the people who know it best - the men and women of Ireland. And in doing so offers a never-before-seen glimpse of the Irish dating scene. Welcome to See You in Coppers ...where love lives (and sometimes dies) and where hope springs eternal.

Colin O'Donnell graduated with a BA in Journalism from the University of Wolverhampton in 2007. He then went on to write for the Gazette Group Newspapers in Dublin where he also began to freelance for the Evening Herald, writing on sporting and current affairs. He has also written for the Sunday Independent and Irish Independent. Colin has travelled and worked in the United States, Canada and Australia. On the artistic front he wrote and produced 'The Gathering' and 'Coppers Uncovered' in the last year - both plays enjoyed sold-out runs. The former was a satirical take on the 2013 government initiative to invite the Diaspora back to boost the economy and will run again later in the year. 'Coppers Uncovered' was a comical take on man's journey through a nightclub with all characters from the famed watering hole depicted throughout.
