These proceedings are divided into four topics: landslides inventory, classification and terminology; hazard mapping of landslides; slope movements prediction and monitoring; land use and landslide problems, landslide control measures and their effects. Much attention is focused on the precise nature of landslide processes and on the prediction and monitoring of slope movements.
