The first part covers specialized safety lighting for use in burning or damaged buildings so that rapid evacuation can take place, with information on maintained and non-maintained systems, escape routing, wiring and so on. The seocnd part covers security lighting (floodlighting, infra-red detctors etc). Worked examples are given, where necessary, as an aid to design.
