Emergency and Security Lighting Handbook

A text on emergency and security lighting at technicians' level, which includes many worked examples, the emphasis being on industrial applications. It should be of benefit to management, engineers, technicians and others with responsibility for safety and security, as well as to students. The first part covers specialized safety lighting for use in burning or damaged buildings so that rapid evacuation can take place, with information on maintained and non-maintained systems, escape routing, wiring and so on. The seocnd part covers security lighting (floodlighting, infra-red detctors etc). Worked examples are given, where necessary, as an aid to design.
