Art of Reading / L'Art de lire

José Moraïs, a language psychologist, gives an account of what we know today of the mental structures which enable us to read, of the relation between spoken and written language, of the mechanI'ms of the learning process and the problems which can occur. He analyzes the different methods with which we learn to read and presents the various therapeutic possibilities offered to those who do not master the art of reading . José Moraïs is a professor at the faculty of psychological sciences and education of the Free University of Brussels.
