Landlord and tenant law forms an important part of all courses of estate management or general practice surveying. However previous textbooks have tended to approach this difficult subject from an academic lawyer's standpoint. They have paid little attention to important aspects such as licences and rent review clauses and do not consider valuation implications. By combining consideration of common law and statute, answers to specific problems may easily be found within this book. It also features a number of diagrams to show the broad effect of legislation and to back up detailed discussion in the text.
