Providing treatment of statutory control of residential tenancies and licences in the private sector in England and Wales, this edition has been revised and updated to include changes to the statute law. It focuses on the most recent wave of legislative activity, and provides information on private sector tenancies created on or after 15th January 1988, which are therefore regulated by the "Housing Act 1988". This 3rd volume is accompanied by a supplement which brings Volumes 1 and 2 fully up to date. The supplement refers readers to the appropriate pages of Volume 3, for consideration of assured tenancies under the "Housing Act 1988".
