Paediatric Neurosurgery

The book is organised to facilitate learning in the rapidly expanding and fascinating area of paediatric neurosurgery; it is presented in a practical way, utilising examples of scenarios and case studies to enhance the understanding of the subject. The essence of family centred care is re-iterated throughout the book, including the continuity of care following discharge from hospital into the community. The importance of the clinical nurse specialist forming the link between hospital and community is included. The book is divided into chapters according to the clinical diagnosis, although clearly there is some overlap (for example the child with a brain tumour and hydrocephalus).
