ICT in the Primary School

ICT is being used in the primary classroom both to develop the IT capability of children (their skills and knowledge) and to enhance the teaching and learning in all areas of the curriculum. This book provides teachers and student-teachers with practical examples of the use of ICT throughout the whole curriculum, together with a theoretical framework that should enable them to make informed decisions about when and how to incorporate the use of ICT into their teaching and the children's learning. Throughout the book there are descriptions of the software, details of the curriculum use and examples of possible projects.
