Catalogue of Pseudoscorpionida to 1988

The small animals that comprise the order Pseudoscorpionida will be known to anyone that has ever delved into the world of leaf litter or similar terrestrial environments. Information concerning their morphology, distribution and systematics is scattered in the scientific literature, and keeping abreast of the numerous nomenclatural changes that have occurred since the last major catalogue, published in 1932, has been a difficult task. This catalogue aims to address this problem by providing complete synomymic lists of all pseudoscorpion taxa described to 1988 (approximately 3000 species), as well as providing type localities and known distributions.
